Hello and Welcome
My aim is to help you feel less frustrated, worried and anxious.
Finding the right counsellor can be overwhelming, so to make it more straightforward I'll sharing something of me and offer you a free initial chat onthe phone. I believe our relationship is central to recovery and healing . So this chat gives us both the opportunity to see if we're the right fit.
I trained in counselling after a range of employments in supporting people. It is always a great privilege to sit alongside people, supporting them through their struggles, whatever these may be.
My experience covers helping people:
- through difficult relationships and where there is or has been domestic abuse
- who feel lonely and isolated
- who feel vulnerable, scared, angry
- who are victims of crime
- who are grieving
I also have knowledge of how food and our bodies health interact.
I offer a friendly safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk about what is troubling you. I think it is helpful for us to talk about the best sort of support for you, and I can draw on a range of trainings I have had, including integrative practice, person-centred approach along with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and sometimes psychodynamic approach also features depending on your needs at the time. We can take some time talking this through to make sure it is a best fit for your needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.
